On the four other Disney Cruise Line ships, Palo is also $50 for prix-fixe and offers an a la carte menu. Four specialty dining restaurants are offered across the Disney Cruise Line fleet. These are great meals, however, and are worth visiting for a special experience. Make your dining reservations in advance because they do get booked early. Letting Disney choose your cabin can be a great way to get a deal on the cruise. These are known as guaranteed rates, and they are the cheapest fares in each category.

These drinks cost anywhere from $5 to $8, depending on your order. You can also order alcoholic drinks from the coffee bars, which run the typical cocktail prices. Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy both have a virtual sports simulator that requires a reservation and a fee.

There is no casino on the Disney Cruise Line ships, but Bingo is available. You’ll need to purchase your Bingo cards, and pre-sales are usually open in advance of the games. These include alcoholic beverages, bottled water, and specialty coffee.

The new internet packages are now available on all five of the Disney Cruise Ships. Adding additional devices to an Internet package will receive a 20% discount. These new Disney Cruise Internet Packages were a welcome change for the ships, which have up to now only offered expensive data usage-based options. The Disney Cruise Line website still states Pearl members can “select port arrival times and complete online check-in 40 days prior to sailing” (other tiers can select between 33 and 38 days prior).

The Basic Surf plan does not support long-form video streaming platforms such as Netfilx and Hulu. The type of package you’ll need will depend on what you are doing. If you want to stream short videos or make video calls, you’ll need the Premium Package, while the Stay Connected package is best if you only want to look up text. Generally, long-form video streaming, like TV shows or movies, is not supported under any of these programs. However, if you want to connect to the wifi on a Disney Cruise ship, there is an additional cost.
When I sail on the Disney Cruise Line, I typically purchase the Basic Surf package. It lets me send and upload photos, but I don’t need the streaming functionality. If you are taking a Disney Cruise and are thinking of purchasing a WiFi package, this post will help you decide what level to purchase and will help you know what to expect from your coverage. You’re not always going to get the fastest wifi while on Disney Cruise Line or at sea, so I wouldn’t schedule an important meeting just in case there’s a glitch. Once you are on the ship, you can put your phone in Airplane mode and then connect to the DCL-GUEST network. From there, you can either stay with free access to the app or purchase a 24-hour or length of cruise internet package.
You may not even be able to check email reliably or audio call at all. If the safety net of potentially being able to connect is worth the $30-$36/day for you, then go for it. Otherwise, you may be better off skipping the hassle completely.

Until recently, all internet packages aboard Disney cruises were priced with a “pay for what you use” model, with data plans based on megabyte usage. These changes have now been rolled out on all ships, with the Disney Wonder being the final ship to upgrade to the new system during a September 2023 Dry Dock. This is an increase of 13-16% based on last year’s pricing of $24 per day, or $20 per day for the length of the cruise. Disney Cruise Line is now offering guests Internet options starting at $12/day (a 24 hour period). The new Internet offering are based on type of usage versus a measured data plan such as a 1GB plan.
