If anyone remembers 2012 and the confusion between Home by Phillip Phillips and the older song Home by Edwarde Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, you know exactly what I'm talking about. It made me think of my high school self, moving from one place to the next. I recall many road trips, with my headphones in, considering the concept, wondering if I'd ever find home, or if I just had many. I wanted to be able to define home, but it wasn't an obvious house or location.
I have met many people in my life that get uncomfortable when a politically charged topic comes up. With the amount of friction in politics these days, people are scared of coming under fire even if they are knowledgeable about politics. However, what I have noticed is that when people have a level of respect for a person they are conversing with, the conversation has a much more likable outcome and is important for the greater idea of bipartisanship. The stipulation on this rule is that a person does not have to be respectful of another's views when those views are rooted in hatred or threaten your wellbeing. If you are from a state that receives little to no snow every year you most likely have a different picture of what it like. Which may be like not being able to see the grass and having your version of Frosty the Snowman on your front yard where you dug up rocks and sticks and grabbed someone in your family scarves and hat because you didn't want the snowman to be cold.

Brett Young first released his honest song, “You Ain’t Here To Kiss Me” on his 2017 self-titled album. This year, he has revamped the heartfelt track just in time for the holidays. Produced by Dan Huff and written by Young, Tiffany Goss, and Matt Alderman, his 2022 version was inspired by a real-life situation that happened between Young and his wife, Taylor Mills, years prior to their marriage.
Several artists have also dropped new music that’s already making its way onto country radio. "Home" is a song written by Fred Lehner and Andy Spooner, and recorded by American country music singer Joe Diffie as his debut single. It was released in August 1990 as the lead-off single from his debut album A Thousand Winding Roads. "Home" rose to the top of all three major country format charts that were in existence at the time — Billboard, Radio & Records (now known as Mediabase 24/7), and the now-defunct Gavin Report — marking the first time in chart history that a country singer's debut single had done so.
